New Design: Dune Shawl

handknit summer shawl featuring three colors, with alternating stripes and lace

Several years ago I designed the Dune Cowl, which is still one of my most favorite designs. I love the way that the options for the knitter to play with color and texture are nearly unlimited.

When we recently brought in The Fibre Co. Luma, the colors were just SO darn eye catching, that I immediately thought of playing with the concept of stripes and lace again in a shawl format.

The Dune Shawl is a cozy triangle handknit shawl that will drape effortlessly over your shoulders. The varied widths and colors of the stripes offer contrast, while the lace adds a touch of sophistication.

If you haven't knit with Luma yet, I can't recommend it enough. It's blend of cotton, merino, silk and linen make it the perfect year-round yarn.

Put together your own combo (you'll need 2 skeins each of three colors) or select one of our curated grab-n-go bundles
