Richland by Dee O'Keefe is a DK weight, contemporary triangular lace shawl featuring a textured chevron lace panel flanked by a stockinette and Estonian star stitch pattern. Inspired by stained glass work of Frank Lloyd Wright, Richland is the designer's lace interpretation of stained glass designs featuring stacked chevron motifs with intersecting horizontal lines.

Liz knit our sample in 2 skeins of the luxurious and beautiful LavenderSheep Yakkity Yak DK, a blend of 70% merino wool, 15% yak, and  15% silk. Local hand dyer LavenderSheep creates deep and rich shades inspired by nature. This yarn has a generous 330 yards per skein and is squishy and plush - perfect for your next warm accessory.

The Richland pattern includes both charts and written out instructions for those of you who prefer not to use charts. Knitters new to lace will find Richland approachable and intuitive to knit and more experienced knitters will enjoy the relaxing rhythm.
