smiling woman holds hand knit summer shawl

In the Columbia River Gorge, even a hot sunny day can feel chilly due to the winds that blow through. As I was knitting this shawl, the West winds were a-raging. This little knit shawl is quick to make and will be perfect for wrapping around your neck when you feel a cool breeze.

Westwind is knit with just one skein of Hikoo Alpico on a size US 8 needle, making it a quick and easy project to whip up for yourself or as a gift.
