shop sample: foxtrot
I knit Foxtrot for the 2019 Olive Knits 4-Day Knit-A-Long, and boy, was it fun! I managed to finish in four days (though I made some modifications - more on that below). I used the Knitted Wit Worsted Superwash merino, and loved every yard of this yarn! It is smooth, silky soft, and her colors have an amazing depth that creates a subtly varied solid. We also have a Foxtrot on display in the shop out of Malabrigo Rios/Washted - another great yarn choice! Scroll down for product links.
Finished circumference at bust: 38.4 (40.4, 42.4, 44.4, 46.4, 48.4, 50.4, 54.4, 58.4)"
Modification notes: I wanted a close fitting, cropped summertime sweater, so I chose to make a size that would give me negative ease. I am wearing the third size in from the left and have a 40" bust. I also modified my sleeves to be 3/4 length instead of bracelet length.
Yarn: Knitted Wit Worsted in Amazonite, 5 (5, 5, 6, 6, 7, 8, 9) skeins
OR Malabrigo Rios or Washted, 4 (5, 5, 6, 6, 7, 7, 8) skeins
Gauge: 20 stitches and 27 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch
Needles: US 7 (4.5mm) for gauge, also US 5 (3.75mm) and US 3 (3.25mm)
