new design: Winter Nights Cowl
As many of you know, I am part of an amazing trio of yarn shop owners that work together to put on the Good Vibes Yarn Tour. This Winter, the tour is featuring our favorite knitting getaways. My ideal place to get away and knit on vacation would be Leavenworth, Washington, during a winter snowstorm when the town is all lit up in festive lights.
For the tour members' special shipment, I designed some warm and cozy flip-top mittens.* However, I had enough yarn leftover in my second colorway to create the matching handknit cowl you see here. The Winter Nights Cowl takes just one skein of Teal Torch Knits TTK New DK (245 yds). You have the option of adding a small stripe in a contrast color in the top and bottom edgings. The main body of the cowl has a finely textured design that really lets your yarn shine.
