New Pattern: Lambert Twist
Okay, okay, you got me. It's not totally new. But - this gorgeous sock pattern has never really had its day in the sun, and it's about time to let 'er shine.
The Lambert Twist socks feature a twisting lace pattern that runs down the leg, through the back of the heel, and continues across the top of the foot. The pattern keeps the knitting fun and interesting, and as you probably know, following a chart always seems to make projects move faster!
I knit our updated sample in HiKoo Madrona, a scrumptious blend of easy-care alpaca, merino, bamboo and nylon. But just because I used a solid colored yarn, don't think this means you can't make gorgeous Lambert Twist socks in a hand-dyed yarn as well. The twisting, moving stitches will show off your variegated yarns just as well.
Pattern: Lambert Twist Socks by yours truly
Yarn: 1 skein HiKoo Madrona (would also be great in 1 sk. Malabrigo Ultimate Sock)
Needles: US size 1.5 (2.5mm) in your preferred method for knitting in the round (double-pointed needles, two circulars, or Magic Loop)
(If you already have purchased the Lambert Twist socks on Ravelry, you'll be receiving a pattern update in your Ravelry library)
