New Pattern: Winter Sun
First, let me admit something: I rarely knit a scarf. I'm usually so sweater-obsessed in my knitting that I just don't have the patience for a scarf. But in designing and knitting this latest pattern, I found a meditative peacefulness that I wasn't expecting. I enjoyed it so much that I decided we should have a sample in another yarn, and wouldn't you know it, I knit it again.
Introducing: Winter Sun
This scarf is designed in a DK weight yarn that has a lot of color interest. Our first sample is shown in Universal Yarns Colorburst (wool blend), and our second is shown in Noro Mirai (cotton/silk blend). It just takes one skein of either (if you use Colorburst, you can make a second scarf out of one ball!).
Just to make things even more interesting, we have 2 new summer yarns from Berroco that would also be GREAT for this project: Isola (linen/cotton) and Vivo (cotton).
Whatever yarn you choose, I hope that you, too, find some peace while knitting this easy, yet striking, scarf.
