shop sample: alexandra's airplane scarf handknit scarf
"Alexandra's Airplane Scarf" by Churchmouse Yarns and Teas is described as the perfect airplane project - both to knit and to wear! This handknit scarf is a lightweight tube knit in lace-weight (or heavier yarn knit to the same gauge) that you can style any number of ways. It is super simple to knit, and it's the perfect way to showcase a special, luxurious yarn and add a fun splash of color!
Sarah knit our sample in 1 skein each of the luxurious hand-dyed Madelinetosh Tosh Pebble (48% silk, 36% merino wool, 16% cashmere) and Tosh Silk Cloud (60% mohair, 40% silk), held together. Sarah chose to use the same color "Mars in Retrograde" for both yarns, though you could choose tonal or contrasting colors to achieve a different look. Is the airplane scarf the perfect project for a trip you have coming up?
