shop sample: Astro Pop handknit top
Introducing "Astro Pop", this year's Olive Knits #4dayKAL (4-Day Knit-a-long) pattern by Marie Greene. The 4-Day KAL begins on July 4th and Sarah finished her shop sample in time to inspire and share with you all. This year’s pattern is a nod to mid-century modern style and summer fun with a three-color summer handknit top that pops! Astro Pop is knit top-down in the round and features an easy colorwork chevron pattern circular yoke with a pop of accent color. A delicate lace detail down the sides of this top adds knitting interest to the Stockinette stitch body. Knit in 3 colors of sport to DK weight yarn, Astro Pop is perfect for spring, summer, or for layering year-round.

Sarah knit her Astro Pop sample in luxurious Dream In Color Suzette, a sport weight 50/50 silk/merino wool blend that has a lovely sheen. She chose a more tonal palette, though the design is also suited to colors that contrast and pop. What colors will you choose for Astro Pop?
