Shop sample: Baerlic Vest
The Baerlic Vest by Sarah Pope is a pullover vest that's worked with two fingering-weight strands of yarn held together to create a subtle marl. The reverse Stockinette st fabric is adorned on the front with a motif created by dip stitches, while the back is plain. This design can be customized, choosing a cropped or regular length vest with gentle A-line shaping. Work a split hem with extra length on the back, or not. Knit a folded cowl neck or choose a simple rolled neckline. Our Baerlic Vest sample was knit by Bekah in the cropped-length, rolled neck version in Berroco Lanas Light, a 100% heavy fingering to light sport weight 100% wool. Lanas Light is a springy 2-ply that has a soft touch and beautiful luster and works at a variety of gauges.
