Khione by Natasja Hornby is a puffy, beautifully textured handknit hat you’ll reach for when winter bites. It has a triple brim for warmth and fit, a puff stitch rib for texture and style, and crown shaping that flows seamlessly out of the stitch pattern. The designer provides a helpful video tutorial on working the puff stitch pattern. Cozy, stylish, and thoughtfully designed, Khione will keep you warm while looking effortlessly put together when temperatures drop.
Julia knit our sample in Daruma Genmou, a 3-ply 100% merino wool yarn (165 yds/50g). Genmou has one ply of untwisted, carded wool and two plies of thin, tightly-spun threads that hold the wool together. This unique construction produces an airy and extremely light yarn. An interesting and unique knit with a beautiful result, this handknit hat will keep you entertained and warm!
