shop sample: little love cardigan handknit sweater
Little Love by ANKESTRicK is a fingering weight cardigan with a subtle lace stitch pattern to add texture. This cardigan is worked seamlessly from the top-down, beginning with the collar. The back neck is picked up and shaped with short rows, and the back is knit to the underarm. Then the fronts are picked up and worked symmetrically to the underarm, where the back and fronts are joined to work the body down to the bottom ribbing. Sleeves are picked up and worked in the round.
Leigh knit our beautiful sample in a KAH favorite, Manos del Uruguay Fino, a fingering-weight, luxurious merino wool & silk blend. This amazing kettle-dyed yarn has subtle color variations, producing a one-of-a-kind look we love. Some knitters like to work with two skeins at a time, alternating, to even out color differences.
