shop sample: Open Trails Sweater Vest
Open Trails Sweater Vest by Ashley Lillis is a fun and fast knit in super bulky yarn. Accessible for beginner knitters and fun for any knitter, this warm and wearable vest can be layered over a t-shirt, dress, or collared shirt. It is knit in the round from the bottom up, divided at the underarms to work the front and back separately, and then seamed at the shoulders. The neck and armhole edgings are picked up and knit in 1x1 rib in the round.
Julia knit our sample in the super soft Blue Sky Woolstok North, a single-ply, super bulky 100% fine highland wool yarn. North is squishy, sturdy, and woolly, and generous 150g hanks are perfect for quick-to-knit projects.
