shop sample: quibbler bandana cowl handknit cowl
Quibbler Bandana Cowl by Jenny Noto is a cozy, squishy, 2-color cowl, perfect for chilly mornings and layering. This seamless handknit cowl is started in the round and shaped using German Short Rows to create the point. You can make it longer to add more scrunchy warmth or keep it short for a lightweight accessory. Bandana cowls are a fun way to style a cowl without a lot of bulk in the back. The slipped stitch pattern is written for 2 colors but could be done using one color. This pattern is best for an intermediate or higher knitter; understanding short rows is important, but there are tutorial links and very good explanations to help.
Julia knit our sample using highly contrasting colors of the dreamy Dream In Color Riley, a worsted weight, single-ply, 100% superwash merino wool. The finished fabric is super bouncy and squishy and feels wonderful around the neck.
We've created grab-n-go bundles to make it easy to choose a color pair!
