Ruth by Julie Weisenberger is a smart and casual shawl-collar tunic-style pullover. “Ruth strikes the balance between sophistication and comfort. It’s a straightforward Cocoknits method pattern with an incorporated collar, but the magic happens when you cross the front collar stitches, transforming it into a streamlined shawl collar pullover. Side vents add to the ease and wearability of the sweater.”

Sarah knit this beautiful sample in the gorgeous American Ewe Worsted Tweed, a merino and rambouillet wool blend. Worsted Tweed is a brand new tweed yarn created from start to finish in the United States from wool grown on ranches in the American West. The non-superwash wool in this three-ply yarn has a micron count of 21, resulting in a yarn that's soft to the touch, incredibly bouncy and plump, and perfect for next to skin wear with excellent stitch definition. Sarah just might have discovered her newest “desert island yarn”.
