shop sample: variety show handknit hat
Variety Show by Sarah Keller is a slouchy style hat that looks great on everyone (and won't crush your hair). This pattern is written for multiple gauges and sizes: Choose from two different sizes and five different weights of yarn. Choose to make it all one color or mix it up with a contrast color. Choose from a ribbed brim or a folded brim - the choices are all yours! Variety is the spice of life, after all!
Sarah knit our sample using Madelinetosh Tosh Pebble and Tosh Silk Cloud, held together, in the same color - Urbane. The Pebble (48% recycled silk, 36% fine merino, 16% cashmere) and Silk Cloud (60% kid mohair, 40% silk) take the dye quite differently and the result of the two held together was unexpected and stunning. This soft and fluffy hat is light as air and cozy for multi-season wear.
