Ready to learn a new skill? Learn to Crochet with Danielle! In this class you will learn how to crochet while making a cozy hat to keep you warm. You will learn to chain, double crochet, slip stitch, and finish off.
Skill Level: This is a class for true beginners.
Materials:
Registered students will be emailed a coupon code for 10% off class materials purchased at Knot Another Hat, and will receive a one-time 15% off coupon for a post-class purchase.
- 1-Hour Beanie pattern available for purchase on Ravelry. (Note: The pattern includes an optional hand-made yarn pom-pom - this technique will not be covered in class.)
- 110-130 yds of smooth, light to medium colored bulky weight yarn; suggested yarns Berroco Vintage Chunky, Berroco Ultra Alpaca Chunky, Malabrigo Vientos
- Hook: size US K (6.5mm)
- Finishing needle (for weaving in ends)
- Scissors
- Optional: lightweight Alpaca Pom Pom to top your hat!
Homework:
Have your yarn wound (if needed) and ready to chain.
