Join Jill to Learn to Doodle! Discover the fun of colorwork and watch your knitting projects come to life using Pacific Knit Co's Doodle Decks or the Doodle Knit Directory. Doodle Decks are playing-card-sized decks of 54 cards that include an instruction card; full color, illustrated schematics with bullet list instructions; and 51 unique 24-stitch colorwork charts. Themed Expansion Decks are also available to add to your Doodle chart library.

This two-session class will cover planning a project and choosing yarns in the first session, and stranded colorwork techniques while working Doodle motifs in the second session (with ribbing homework in between). With guidance, you will choose your project (cowl or beanie), motifs, chart order, and color combinations. You'll want to knit these over and over with different motifs because they're different every time.

Skill Level: This class is suitable for advanced beginner knitters looking to grow their skills or for more advanced knitters who want to try a fun way to play with color. You should be familiar with reading a knitting pattern, know how to cast on, knit, purl, and bind off.

Materials: Registered students will be emailed a coupon code for 10% off class materials purchased at Knot Another Hat, and will receive a one-time 15% off coupon for a post-class purchase good for 60 days. (*Discounts exclude classes, events, and consignment items. Please note that the Doodle Knit Directory book is a consignment item.)
