Knot Another Hat is welcoming Ali Pate of Herd of Cats for a trunk show of her Road Trip Sock Yarn!
Road Trip Sock Yarns are inspired by the thrill of a good road trip adventure. Themes are based on destinations, tourist attractions, local, and regional history. Yarn fun for every stitcher looking to capture the excitement of their road trip within their project. And, keeping hands busy along the route.
Road Trip Sock Yarn dye style is a little different than others. In addition to utilizing more environmentally friendly dye practices, these yarns are dyed in a two-step process. All yarns are saturated with a custom tonal before diving into a bath of mega speckles. This process allows for depth of colors from whites, lights, bold darks, and an array of color pops in between. These skeins are all rarely revisited small batches, reflecting upon the unique experiences of each road trip.
Just when you thought a collection couldn’t get more fun, let me tell you about my Herd of Cats Classic Cat yarns. What are we doing between Road Trips? Stitching at home, of course. Many of us share our stitch time with our favorite furry friend. The Meow Mélange collections are inspired by the fur coats and eye colors of adoptable cats from the local shelter. Monetary donations are made based on sales to help animals during their stay at the shelter.
