Join Jill to knit a Baby Sweater! Great for first-time sweater knitters, parents, grandparents-to-be or anyone who wants to learn to knit a sweater. This three-session class will teach you all the steps to knit a top-down seamless sweater - in a small size! 

Skill Level: This class is suitable for the new-ish knitter on up. You should know how to cast on, knit, purl, perform basic increases and decreases, and bind off.

• PetiteKnit's pattern "Anker's Sweater", available for purchase on Ravelry.com (you may choose from the smallest 3 pattern sizes but the smaller you choose the more likely to finish all steps in class duration) 
  
• Approx. 400 yds worsted weight yarn (see pattern details for sizing and the quantity of yarn required). Suggested yarns: Malabrigo Rios or Berroco Vintage
• Needles: size US 6 (4.5mm) 16" circular needle, plus a second size US 6 circular needle (16 or 24") or double-pointed needles for small-circumference knitting (sleeves)
• Stitch markers
• Waste yarn or Purl Strings for putting sleeve stitches on hold to knit body
• Finishing needle (for weaving in ends)

Homework:
Have your yarn wound (if needed) and ready to cast on. Optional: cast on stitches to begin pattern. Extra credit for anyone who can guess how many baby sweaters Jill has knit!
