Our very own hometown gal, Yvonne of LavenderSheep, dyed up this custom colorway just for our 20th anniversary shindig. This special color, called "20 Something", is gorgeous as is, but is super fun when used as a planned pooling color. Check out Sarah's new design, the Bowl of Cherries Cowl (free pattern download will come with purchase of this yarn).
The 100% Shaniko wool is surprisingly soft, non-superwash, and rich in color and "squish". This yarn is hand-dyed in the Pacific Northwest.
- Fiber: 100 Shaniko wool
- Gauge: fingering (1), 7-8 sts/inch
- Needle: US 1-3 (2.5-3.25mm)
- Hook: US F
- Weight: 100g (3.5oz)
- Yardage: 450
- Care: hand wash, dry flat
(We have 4 woopsie skeins of 20 Something dyed on the Shaniko Superwash base, which is the same as the regular Shaniko base but has been treated to be machine washable on cold, dry flat.)
**Note: Hand-dyed yarns vary from skein-to-skein and more so from batch-to-batch. We recommend that you purchase enough yarn at once to complete an entire project. Also, when using hand-dyed yarns in a project that requires more than one skein, we recommend alternating skeins every other row to even out any differences.
