- Yarn: 4 colors of fingering weight yarn; approximately 115 yds of Color A and 80 yds each of Colors B, C, and D; pictured in Jamieson’s Shetland Spindrift (100% Shetland wool; 115 yds/25g) in Salmon (A), Natural White (B), Mooskit (C), and Sunrise (D)
- Needles: 16" circular needles size US 2 (2.75mm) and US 3 (3.25mm) and second circular or double-pointed needles in size US 3 (3.25mm)
- Skill: knitting in the round, basic decreases; comfortable reading knitting patterns
- Size: adult, to fit 20-23" head circumference
- Gauge: 26 sts x 56 rows = 4" in Stockinette stitch and slipped stitch pattern on larger needle
