What better way to ring in the New Year than with a chunky, sparkly hat. This quick-to-knit ribbed beanie is warm and soft, and the addition of the subtle sequin sparkle gives it that extra pizzazz we’re all looking for in the middle of Winter. (The gauge isn’t affected by the sequined Paillettes, so if you’d rather skip the sparkle just follow the pattern as written with a bulky weight yarn.) 

• 1 skein each WoolAddicts Mystery (92% merino wool, 8% nylon; 120 yds/50g) and Lang Paillettes (55% nylon, 45% polyester; 122 yds/25g). Sample shown in Mystery color 13 and Paillettes color 66 Wine. Yarns are held together throughout.
• 16" circular needle in size US 13 (9.0mm), plus double-pointed needles or 2nd circular needle in size US 13 (9.0mm) for your preferred method of working in the round on small circumference items
  
• Adult Medium (Adult Large); to fit 19-21" (21-23)" head circumference
• 8 sts x 18 rows = 4" in ribbed pattern stitch, slightly stretched
