Gettin' Shifty KAL with Ingrid
Let's welcome Spring with the Gettin’ Shifty Knit-a-long (KAL). Join us to shift gears out of Winter by knitting your choice of 4 “Shift” patterns from Andrea Mowry. All use Mosaic knitting to create beautiful color shifting in a snap. Mosaic knitting is a simple technique to combine colors and is suitable even for newer knitters to try out! If you can knit, purl, and slip stitches, then you can do Mosaic knitting.
Choose The Shift cowl or Shiftalong hat for just enough to keep the chill away, or dive into the Nightshift shawl or Shifty pullover (for intermediate or advanced knitters) for more of a challenge. Click here to browse all four patterns.
Our wonderful Ingrid will host the KAL, which will begin on Friday, March 18th. The KAL will kickoff with a Zoom meetup on the 18th at 3:30pm PT (4:30 MT, 5:30 CT, 6:30 ET), followed by four more Zoom get-togethers on Fridays (same time) - March 25th; April 8th and 22nd; and May 6th. The meetups will be recorded and the replays made available.
Excited yet? Well, there’s more - registered participants will get 10% off their purchase of yarn for the KAL (one use per customer). AND we will have a prize drawing! To sign up and get your coupon code, fill out the form at the bottom of this post.
**Note: If you’re already doing the 2022 DreaReneeKnits (DRK) March to May Sweater or Shawl KAL and have chosen one of the Shift family of patterns, join us for more fun!

I’ve had yarn in my stash for the cowl for at least 2 years. Thank you, Sarah and Ingrid for being the catalysts to finally get me started! Who can say no to a KAL with you two? So excited for the fun to begin!
I’ve finished a Shift Cowl and the worsted weight shawl, Nightshift. They were such fun to knit that I want to make another cowl. …just not sure of the colors yet and I’m late getting started in this (what else is new?). Should be fun.
I have knitted Nightshift and The Shift in Laneras Deseos. Very warm. I have the yarn for Shiftalong. So…I think I need an expert to pick me some color choices!😍

Knot Another Hat replied:
Wow, Sharon – you get a gold star for doing all the Shift versions! Do
you mean you need help with color choices for Shifty, the pullover? If
so, just email us at customerservice at knotanotherhat dot com and we
can help. If possible, try to provide some guidance on yarn type or
color preferences. And if you haven’t already watched the video Sarah
and Ingrid did on our Tuesday Lunch Chat, check it out for inspiration!
