new design: arbor bloom handknit shawl

2-color striped and textured handknit shawl

Introducing Arbor Bloom by Sarah Keller, a generously sized asymmetrical triangle handknit shawl that celebrates the interplay of light and shadow. Inspired by the intricate beauty of a blossoming arbor, this pattern combines soft garter stitch stripes with the dimensional interest of bobbles and a lattice stitch pattern. Arbor Bloom would shine in highly contrasting or more subdued color combinations, and using a variegated with a solid as shown, or 2 solid colors.

Arbor Bloom was designed in Tosh DK, a round, bouncy, hand-dyed 100% superwash merino wool from South Africa. Tosh DK is available in an array of rich and saturated variegated and semi-solid colors. Other DK-weight yarns would also work for this handknit shawl and Sarah put together several inspired Arbor Bloom grab-n-go bundles!
