new design: campbell lila cowl handknit cowl
Introducing the Campbell Lila Cowl by Sarah Keller, a bandana-shaped handknit cowl that uses contrasting colors to build a small geometric motif with a tweedy look. It is finished off with a classic pointed hem and an i-cord bind off around the top. It is knit with simple slipped stitches (no tricky colorwork techniques required), making it a great first two-color project. This handknit cowl is cozy enough to layer under a coat, and striking enough to wear on its own.
Sarah knit our sample in 2 skeins (1 skein ea color) of Berroco Remix Wool (38% wool, 28% polyamide, 22% cotton, 7% acrylic, 5% other fibers; 216 yds/100g), a heavy-worsted weight wool-blend recycled fiber yarn. AND, if you swap color A and color B you can get a second handknit cowl out of the same 2 skeins of yarn! This new yarn from Berroco joins their popular Remix line of yarns created from recycled fibers. Rich, tweedy colorways bring timeless depth to fabrics created from this yarn.
