shop sample: 45th parallel striped handknit shawl
45th Parallel by Sarah Keller is a summer handknit shawl that is straightforward to knit and features a color-changing yarn with stripes of contrasting color. The cool cotton yarn makes this shawl perfect for throwing over your shoulders on a cool summer evening. This handknit shawl is an easy and approachable knit, using basic increases and decreases.
Sofia knit our 45th Parallel sample using 2 skeins Juniper Moon Farm Cumulus Stripes, (MC), and 1 skein Juniper Moon Farm Cumulus (CC) (94% cotton, 6% nylon; 251 yds/100g). Cumulus is incredibly soft with a really lovely drape.
And guess what? Sarah put together some beautiful color combinations in grab-n-go bundles for 45th Parallel using multi-colored Cumulus paired with a neutral color Cumulus. Yarn and pattern included - decisions made easy!
