new design: canyon tee handknit top
When Juniper Moon Iridescence arrived at the store, I immediately had a sweater design pop into my head. This doesn't happen very often; I love to design accessories (as you all probably know from our monthly pattern releases), but I don't often feel inspired to create a whole sweater.
Canyon Tee is very simple to make, and would be ideal for a first sweater adventure. If you're a more advanced knitter, you'll whip up this handknit top in no time. It is a boxy fit sweater with a drop sleeve, and is flattering on everyone!
I wanted to make sure this sweater was available to all, so it is sized from size 32-72" finished bust (it is meant to be worn with 4 to 8" of positive ease - I am wearing the 44).
Iridescence is a lovely blend of cotton and silk that was just released by Juniper Moon this past Spring. Unfortunately, after finishing the design and preparing for publishing, I found out that it has already been discontinued. 😔 We still have several colors available (including my color, Grand Canyon). But other great options would be Berroco Gianna or Berroco Bozzolo.
