new design: shaniko handknit shawl
Meet Shaniko, by Sarah Keller, a gorgeous lightweight shawl designed in brand new LavenderSheep Shaniko Cashmere. At the time I began designing this shawl, I really needed a semi-mindless project to work on, so the garter stitch triangle main body was perfect. But, I knew that this yarn begged to have a little more definition, so I added a large, beautiful lace border in a complementing color for a little pizzazz. The blend of 80% Shaniko wool and 20% cashmere is luxuriously soft, yet hearty, and rich in color. Shown in Knot Another Club exclusive colors, the shawl just takes one skein of each color - choose from six colors in the Shaniko Cashmere palette.
