Dagmar Jacket Junior by PetiteKnit is a sweet all-over cable textured baby to child size cardigan. This handknit baby sweater is worked from the top down with the back yoke worked first. Then each shoulder is worked separately, from picked up stitches along the top of the back yoke. The fronts and back yoke are joined at the underarms to form the body. The sleeves are picked up around the armholes and knit in the round.
Jill knit our adorable sample in 5 skeins of new spring yarn Berroco Cashmello (55% merino wool, 35% acrylic, 10% cashmere; 136 yds/50g). The cables were entertaining to knit throughout in this squishy, bouncy yarn. Cashmello is machine washable too - perfect for baby knits! Finished with the cutest little wood floral buttons from Jill's button stash. What color will you choose?
