Road Trip Tee by Ingrid Saxon is a fun, lightweight, reversible top that's great for warm weather or layering in cooler seasons. So named because it is a great pattern to knit on a road trip, with lots of Stockinette stitch and a simple lace pattern. Road Trip Tee is also an excellent project for an adventurous beginner knitter or someone dipping their toes into garment knitting for the first time. The seasoned knitter will appreciate the custom sizing options and different looks of this handknit top. 

Whether you like cropped tops with dresses and high waisted pants, or hip-length for everyday comfort, you can knit this tee for your perfect match. Road Trip Tee is designed to with a Stockinette side and a simple lace side seamed together for a reversible top. However, you could opt to do both sides Stockinette or both sides lace! Other options include adding short rows for bust darts to create a designated front side and/or adding short rows just below the back neckline for a designated back.
