Flicker Scarf by Yiğitcan / Pufido is a rectangular handknit scarf constructed with Brioche stitches. It is worked in Brioche Stockinette stitch, which still carries the nature of the Brioche, but is different than the classic Brioche rib. The design is inspired by flickering lights, using slipped stitches to show/hide the colors, which dance and flicker in a transverse pattern.
The Flicker Scarf was designed to highlight the unique dye pattern of Gusto Wool Carmen (80% extrafine superwash merino wool, 20% nylon; 440 yds/100g) a fingering weight yarn that combines saturated solids with exuberant speckled colors. Knit up it creates stripes that dance in rhythmic combinations.
