shop sample: linen stitch scarf
The Koigu Linen Stitch Scarf by Churchmouse Yarns and Teas is a virtual blank slate for creatively combining yarns. Worked along the length of the scarf, the long rows allow for some mindless knitting, yet fun yarn combinations make you want to keep going to the next row. The linen stitch harmonizes colors and is a great way to use that special skein or yarn with a little “bling”. And it is beautiful on the ‘wrong’ side of the fabric too!
Jill knit this scarf sample combining Berroco Millefiori Light, Berroco Aerial, and Lang Paillettes, along with three miscellaneous fingering-weight mini skeins (to add more color). The Paillettes and Aerial were held together, creating a luxurious soft halo and a subtle sparkle, and alternated with the Millefiori Light, which provides a long color change, and mini skeins of fingering.
What combination will you use? Too hard to decide? We've created grab-n-go bundles to make it easier!
