shop sample: making waves handknit cowl
Making Waves Cowl by Kay Hopkins is a quick and easy cowl with a simple lace panel on a Stockinette stitch background. Light enough for multi-season wear, it layers beautifully with winter sweaters or any outfit. This asymmetrical handknit cowl is worked sideways from end to end, with increases along the neck edge. It is finished with a short seam at the back neck for easy wearing.
Kris knit our sample using hand-dyed Madelinetosh Tosh Pebble (silk, merino, cashmere) and Tosh Silk Cloud (mohair, silk) held together, creating a sport weight. These luxurious yarns held together create super soft, lightweight, etherial fabric. This cowl will warm your neck and you won't even know you're wearing it!
