shop sample: moonflower handknit sweater
Moonflower Sweater by Beach House Knits features a beautiful and repetitive colorwork pattern at the yoke. It is a cropped sweater worked seamlessly from the top down, and the designer says “Its design is reminiscent of the last of the fall blooms.” The pattern is size-inclusive and intended for an oversized fit with 6” to 9” of positive ease.
Jill knit our sample in Manos del Uruguay Alpaca Heather, a gorgeous and soft sport weight blend of 70% wool and 30% alpaca. Moonflower was designed in this yarn as part of Manos del Uruguay's Fall 2023 Collection. Alpaca Heather colors come in 50g skeins and neutrals in 100g skeins, making efficient use of yarn for a colorwork sweater such as this. What colors will you choose?

Hi Mary – I think maybe you are mixing up the sizing for Moonflower and Tea with Jam and Bread (L2 is a Tea w/J&B size). Please see the size options for the Moonflower on the pattern here:
