shop sample: panorama striped handknit scarf
Panorama by Sarah Keller is a delicate lightweight handknit scarf perfect for cool summer evenings or spring and fall. Sarah's favorite color philosophy is: Use Them ALL! Panorama uses 7 colors of sport weight yarn - 6 color stripes and a contrast color to divide them. Use a gradient of colors or choose your favorites and knit in color blocks - it's up to you.
Sarah knit our "Dunarama" sample using 7 colors of Amano Duna, a new sport weight yarn that is 60% organic cotton and 40% alpaca (218 yds/50g) and oh-so-soft and drapey. The natural colors of the cotton and alpaca create subtle hues in the dyed or undyed colors. If you use 7 colors/skeins of Duna, there is enough yardage to make 2 scarves!
Once again Sarah has put together beautiful grab-n-go bundles to help you with color selection for your own Panorama scarf! Pattern is included in bundle price!
