shop sample: the twist pullover handknit baby sweater
The Twist Pullover by kiddiwinksknits is a top down, seamless pullover in baby to child’s sizes. The beautiful cabled yoke incorporates the increases into the cables, which have written instructions. The yoke is knit in the round to the underarms, then stitches are placed on hold for the sleeves, and the body is continued in one piece. The sleeves are then worked top down in the round. The back is raised with a series of short rows for a better fit.
Jill knit our stunning sample in the brand new Eriu Elements DK, a 100% Irish wool (Blue Faced Leicester & Romney lambswool blend; 255 yds/100g). This worsted-spun yarn is both soft and sturdy and comes in a stunning palette in four harmonious themes: Air, Water, Fire, and Earth. Jill raved about knitting with it!
