new design: gorge winds handknit hat

Introducing Gorge Winds by Sarah Keller, a cozy cabled beanie in two yarn weights. We know a thing or two about wind around here in the Columbia River Gorge, and this hat will help you brace yourself for it. Knitted in either Bulky or Super Bulky weight yarn, it works up quickly on larger needles. The cable pattern swirls around like the winds here in the windsports capital of the world, and is suitable for first-time cablers.

The bulky weight version was knit in Berroco Vintage Chunky, a super soft and easy care blend of acrylic, wool, and nylon. The super bulky weight version was knit in the gorgeous Blue Sky Woolstok North, a single-ply 100% Peruvian highland wool. Both versions knit up quick - perfect for a gift or for when the wind begins to howl.
