new design: sparkly new year handknit hat
The "Sparkly New Year Hat" by Sarah Keller is a fun and satisfying way to ring in the New Year. This chunky, sparkly ribbed beanie is quick-to-knit and warm and soft. The addition of the subtle sequin sparkle gives it that extra pizzazz we’re all looking for in the middle of winter.

Sarah designed the Sparkly New Year Hat in WoolAddicts Mystery, a self-striping, superwash extra fine merino wool with a touch of nylon, held together with Lang Paillettes (55% nylon, 45% polyester) for a touch of sparkle. (The gauge isn’t affected by the sequined Paillettes, so if you’d rather skip the sparkle just follow the pattern as written with a bulky weight yarn.)
