shop sample: amélie tee handknit top
Amélie Tee by PetiteKnit is the cutest little striped summer top! It is worked from the top down in stockinette stitch with stripes. The first part of the yoke is worked flat, back and forth, to shape the neckline. Then the work is joined in the round, so the rest of the yoke can be worked in the round and shaped with raglan increases. Stitches are picked up along the neck and knitted to create a subtle stockinette stitch edge.
Jill knit our beautiful sample in 3 skeins (1 skein each color) of Kinua Organic Cotton Fingering (100% organic pima cotton; 525 yds/100g). Peruvian cotton is characterized by its softness and it's great for garments that are in direct contact with the skin. This yarn is naturally dyed using a variety of leaves, Andean flowers, roots and vegetable waste. Would also be perfect for baby items!
