shop sample: luminos tee handknit top
Luminos Tee by Yamagara is a delightfully different and engaging knit! This handknit top is a unique knitting adventure - a tee shaped by triangles and chevrons, ending with a delicate shoulder detail and converging lines.
Sarah knit our sample using 1 skein each of 3 colors of Treasure Goddess Bamboo Linen Treasures, a fingering weight blend of 70% bamboo rayon and 30 linen. The result is a super flattering, luxurious and drapey spring/summer top (see Sarah wearing and talking about it in this Tuesday Lunch Chat video)! The pattern is designed with 2 colors but Sarah opted to use a 3rd color at the upper body/yoke area, where the pattern uses the main color. If knit in 2 colors, this size (4) would have used 2 skeins of MC and 1 skein of CC. Suitable for just about any fingering weight yarn, this is a great project for those beautiful single skeins some of us (ahem) collect.
