The Sophie Scarf by PetiteKnit is a sweet little handknit scarf or scarflette that you will want to make over and over again. This scarf is knit back and forth in one piece, from tip to tip, in garter stitch with built-in i-cord edges. The smaller size Sophie Scarf reaches around the neck once, while the larger size can wrap around twice. This is an all-time favorite gift knit!
Jill knit our sample (how many Sophies does this make for Jill??) using a new yarn for us, the fluffy and soft Lamana Torino Bouclé. Torino is a super light sport weight blend of 80% wool, 20% silk (202 yds/25 g) with a bouclé construction and soft, sophisticated colors. This luxurious yarn pairs well with the simple design of Sophie, making it our latest choice for the Sophie Scarf.
